A scribe of thoughts

I may not be able to write a book, but I can manage a chapter. If I can’t manage a chapter, I may be able to complete a page. If I can’t complete a page, it’s possible that I can squeeze out a paragraph. If a paragraph is too much, I know I can write a sentence. And if a sentence is too hard? I can always write a word. But what if that seems too harrowing? Then, at the very worst, I can manage a thought.

That’s all a writer is, after all. A scribe of thoughts. And we humans can’t help but have those.
